Very bad experience*,
I wish I could give the seller, Discount DLP TV Lamps, 0 stars. The bulb died after a little more than 2 months, well within their warranty period. I sent an email requesting procedure to return the bulb and one month later they have not bothered to respond.
*Give Amazon 5 stars for their customer service. When the seller proved non-responsive Amazon stepped in to make things right.

As described with plastic housing. Fast shipping. Warranty is 6 months free replacement with pro-rated warrant for the last six months. Been installed for the last few weeks and it works great so far.
